Hiking on 6/11/16(Sat), Tolman Peak
Tolman Peak @ Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park, Union City
Meeting Time: 1:15pm
We will meet at the parking lot at the end of May Road, Union City. We will start at 1:30pm from the May Trail to the Tolman Peak Trail uphill with elevation gain about 700 ft.. We then take the South Fork Trail downhill back to the Tolman trail to the Parking Lot. The whole route is about 4.6 miles. This route should be rated as “easy to moderate” with about half mile slope climbing. (If you are late, get a map and follow the said route above to catch us.)
There is a Dry Creek Garden at the trail head. If you have not been there, I recommend you to come earlier to visit it. Spare about an hour to enjoy the blooming of the seasonal flowers here. It is open to the public with free of charge.
